  3. @Saranna: in the British psyche, you don't "line up for something", you "queue". Queuing itself is an activity. There does not need to be a reason. I remember being in a shop in Paris. I was the only customer in that shop. A British customer enters then looks at me, all panicky and says "where is the queue?". In England: three is a crowd but two is a queue.

    In that case, they were waiting to get into the tent where the shows were held. They would just hang out by the entrance and wait for their turn, but this being Britain, they had to queue.

    With this shot, I wanted to emphasise that going to fashion week, is not all glamorous. It usually involves waiting a lot. For the paparazzi-street-style photographers, it's all about waiting for interesting people to show. For spectators to the shows, it's all about waiting for the show to start, etc.
