  5. @Adelythe: la bouteille était en vitrine ! Je n'ai pas bu toutes les bouteilles correspondant à ces bouchons. J'avais prévu ce billet à l'avance, pour célébrer le début de mes vacances, mais celui-ci a été repoussé d'une semaine.

  10. Don't worry San, I understand. 'Flat' composition is not a bad thing at all. Look at Charvet's or even Cézanne's best still lives and you will see that they are often fully frontal. This one is almost like a Flemish still life by comparison!

    I like simplicity & readability a lot. On this blog, I try to challenge myself a wee bit, though, and I try things which are different from what I would be inclined to do, typically. That's what I meant in my comment. I think the pic is made more interesting by the fact the label is overexposed (deleting unnecessary information and given the picture a different light) and the very limited depth of field.
