Jam Tart @ Favela Chic tonight

Unless I am too tired, which I might very well be, I am going back to London's Favela Chic for their Jam Tart open mic tonight. For those who don't know, Jam Tart is basically a live karaoke where people sing the songs they like, backed not by a tape but by a very good band of session players. One of the funniest night I have been to in London. This beats 'cool djs' in 'vibrant' 'up and coming' or 'trendy' clubs, easily. It's far nicer and more down to earth. Here is a selection of pictures from last time.

Is there anything sexier than a man with a guitar? Some members of the audience might disagree:

Back to the music anyhow. I tried to put a picture of everyone I saw onstage, even when I was not completely happy with the pictures. Please feel free to let me know your names!

Saranna wrote: « This is actually such a good shot it's almost candid. I would have maybe cropped out the lamp post on the right, but it's not a great distraction. I like how the top of the car and people at the bottom of the frame create a little hustle bustle. I like it :) » So I updated the picture!
