  4. Thanks San! I would need to correct the lines to exhibit this, I guess... the lens is bending them slightly. On the other hand, I don't really correct pictures, normally.

  5. Thanks Little King. This is in Paris: near the allée Darius Milhaud, XIXe. The use of coloured plastic material on buildings with parge coating is fairly typical of 'Chirac architecture', the architecture favoured by Paris City Council in the 1980s (tiling was often involved too). I used to really dislike this style but then, everytime I go back to Paris, I realise that some of the buildings in that style (nearly all public buildings) are really good, and fill of innovative ideas - in an unassuming kind of way. The exact opposite of the brash (mostly private) architecture, favoured in many parts of the suburbs (& often seen in London too: all those steel & glass buildings!)
