/Marylebone Trash/ [dans une poubelle : on dirait Paris !]

/Which version do you prefer?/
[Quelle est votre version préférée?]
|O que é sua versão favorita?|

  1. I'd say the cleaned up version looks better to me. Although the grain and mess in the first one do create a sort of authentic feel to the scene.

  2. I really like the first one.
It's not as bright, and it looks more raw.

  3. It took me a second to notice the difference but I prefer the first one.

  4. Is it me or do they practically look the same? They are nice, hard to tell which one to go for :)

  5. I don't see a difference......

But thanks for the comment on my blog. :)

  6. It's hard to say. I like the grittiness of the first photo, but it could be thought to be a bit messy. The second one has less of that gritty feel. Really, the best way to describe it is that the first one looks like a film photograph and the second looks like a digital photograph. It just comes down to what you want.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. You were too sweet.

  7. i can't realise the difference!! but if i have to choose i prefer the first one, as a film photograph.
thanks for your comment! i like to see your photographs too!!

  8. Haha, had the same problem as the others. I didn't see the difference until I read Sarannas comment.

I prefer the rough shot. Authencity is better to me, that's why I use film.

  9. Oops! I did it again: I answered the comments on this post two or three times but nothing ever appeared here!

You all guessed right: the second pic was filtered to remove some grain.

I'll keep in mind most people prefer the unfiltered version. I usually find the filtered ones better, especially if they are just filtered slightly, but I did not manage to get the right balance here!
