@ Niccolo : Yes, Brazilian music rocks - or actually, it does not rock, & that makes it all the more interesting.
@ Photodiarist: the trick, I have found, is to avoid thinking that it is a low light environment & treat it as if it weren't. It means: no flash, stabilising myself and the camera, going up the ISO scale and sometimes underexposing then correcting later, on computer (easier done in raw format or with some white balance settings, and with no saturation applied).
